Electronics giant Philips recently announced that it will launch the newest update to its ever-popular SpeechExec Enterprise system. The 4.0 edition of the dictation management system has several updated features, including new speech-recognition workflow capabilities and a more ergonomically designed user interface, according to Traders Huddle.
The Citrix-ready system can be linked easily to the latest versions of Nuance's programs like the Dragon NaturallySpeaking Legal and Professional editions. At the same time, the simplified interface will enable individuals to use Enterprise 4.0 more efficiently.
'We conducted an extensive, year-long usability study which revealed that speech recognition users want an interface that's simple and intuitive - they expect specific functions to be in specific places - and users want the software to be flexible enough to adapt to their ever changing needs,' Philips Speech Processing CEO Thomas Brauner told the news outlet.
Additionally, those who are already used to the past editions of Enterprise will be happy to know that this new program will offer them greater flexibility as well as the ability to customize the system settings to cater to their needs.
