While Dragon NaturallySpeaking comes with a small book to help with installation and initial training, there is nothing outside of the application help menu that guides users to the many unique and powerful features of this application.
While we provide one-on-one training, it can be costly since it's basically by the hour. Many users, like us, prefer to have a guide we can refer to when we have questions like:
- How do I increase the accuracy of Dragon NaturallySpeaking?
- How do I use templates to speed up report generation?
- How do I add new vocabulary words unique to my business?
We looked around to see if any books now exist. The last widely published book on Dragon was "Dragon NaturallySpeaking for Dummies," written in 2000 and covering Version 4. We're now on Version 9, and there's a world of difference between the two versions.
So, we're proud to announce the publication of "Mastering Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional," a downloadable PDF book specifically designed to give beginning and advanced users all the information they need to get the most from Dragon.
What If I Use Dragon Preferred or Standard?
While this book will no doubt have value to users of the Preferred or Standard versions of Dragon NaturallySpeaking, it contains a lot more irrelevant information that explains the advanced features of the Professional series, including Legal and Medical. Preferred and Standard were never meant to be used by serious Dragon aficionados. For these versions, the on-board tutorials will usually suffice.
